Sundays are best lazying around, being as lethargic as possible. It’s almost time for Gov’s dinner party here at home yet Twin and I are just about to have lunch. On our table’s a mix of cooked brown & white rice warmly tossed with this fresh and (I can’t believe I’m saying this but) healthy fixation:
For a hardcore bagoong (ok fine, and patis) fan, it’s so hard to believe that this wonder jar is filled with nothing but the good stuff: black beans, muscovado sugar, lemon juice, and water.
Twin, who’s highly allergic to traditional bagoong, approves and has gone crazy over this at first whiff (so much so that he insisted we have nothing but bagoong rice for late lunch). The frustrated vegan in me can’t quite complain!
Yesterday, before stepping out of PIPINO, I purchased two jars (Php 120 each, 115ml) only two find out that Patty tossed two more jars into her loot bag (she had a super awesome party I can’t wait to tell you ’bout). Can you tell how this quad’s made me grin from ear to ear? :)
