Just Like Photoshop: Clinique Pore Refining Solutions Instant Perfecting Makeup

It's been half a month since I had my last acne surgery. It's been 15 days of stress, redness, itching and peeling. Here's a quick snap of my forehead (click) and lip area (click). I almost forgot how difficult it is to have skin this troubled and demanding of TLC! :(

While I haven't healed through and through yet, with my dermatologist's advise, I can wear makeup occasionally (*confetti*). It's good that she mentioned I can wear products from Clinique and VMV Hypoallergenics because I have a ready stash. :)

Since December, prior to meeting Urban Decay's Naked Skin Foundation, I've been using Clinique Pore Refining Solutions Instant Perfecting Makeup (what a mouthful!). It's supposed to give me a "virtually poreless look today, tomorrow". It's oil-free and very lightweight, designed for individuals with dry, combination and oily skin. I'm using the shade Cream Beige which perfectly fits my slightly tanned, medium golden complexion.

I like this foundation a lot for plenty of reasons beginning with zero breakouts encountered and its longevity and finish throughout the day. It gives me the perfect moderate, naturally-matte coverage I've always been gunning for. I would like to think that this foundation works like a photo editor for my skin because whenever I use it, people always stare asking me why I look unbelievably well-rested. :) For something so good, it's also very reasonably priced at Php 1850 for a 30ml plastic bottle.

Clinique Pore Refining Solutions Instant Perfecting Makeup is available in Clinique counters nationwide and through www.clinique.com.

  1. this got me interested. how many hours does it last before you have to retouch? i am looking for a long wearing foundation for combination-oily skin. :)

  2. I only had to retouch once 4hrs after applying the product. :)

  3. I have oily and acne prone skin. Would this be a better option for me than urban decay naked skin foundation?

  4. That's a tough one! If you have the tendency to have zits often, I would go for his one. This is lighter in terms of weight and feel over UD Naked if you're looking for something to use on a daily basis. If you need extra coverage every so often, go ahead and try UD Naked.

    Hope this helps!
