This just in: the latest and possibly the best foundation from Make Up For Ever has arrived in Manila! Over grissini, salmon canapes, and macarons (triple yum!), the ladies and I had dibs on this much talked about foundation from MUFE. According to the MUFE PH Tribe, this is possibly the biggest product revolution of the decade considering it's changing the game on and off cam. This foundation promises "movie star complexion" in a few strokes and dabs.
Created for the very latest high-definition technologies of the film and TV industry, ULTRA HD advanced formulas look invisible in 4K definition and to the naked eye. Perfect for makeup professionals and for you.
Trying it out over cleansed skin, my initial thoughts were -- WOW this feels like nothing! It's able to cover my imperfections (rendering medium coverage) and it's left my skin feeling like it's on its own. It feels cool to the touch (likely due to the hyaluronic acid that's drawing and locking continuous moisture) making it super comfortable to wear. I only tried it on one side of my face and I can immediately tell the difference compared to the other foundation I was wearing.
Made even more flexible than the previous formula, the Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Invisible Cover Foundation has 40 (yes, four-zero) shades on the counters! For your reference, I found my match in Y245 (aka. 120 and Soft Sand). It's smacked in between fair and medium with light yellow undertones.

I did a quick touch up using some of the makeup above and I'm seriously crushing on the HD Blushes as well. When will this lemming ever end? :)
The usual suspects reporting for duty!
I can't wait to road test this foundation further so stay tuned for tips, looks, and a more in depth review. ;)
The Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Invisible Cover Foundation is now available locally for Php 2700 per 30ml bottle. Get yourself swatched at their SM Megamall Fashion Hall, Greenbelt 3, Trinoma, and SM Mall of Asia stores.
Quite a splurge, but I'm glad I didn't get the original line of mufe hd foundation. At least, I can try this out first. I just hope they have a shade match for me. With the first hd line, they didn't. It was either too yellow or too light.
ReplyDeleteI agree, there are "generic" shades from its predecessor that required some tweaking to perfect. This range is more extensive, hope you find your match! :)
