Althea Trendy Box 7: Beauty Routine From Head To Toe

What's better than an Althea Korea box? Two Althea Korea boxes! ^_^ I ordered the Trendy Box #7 and #8 together and they're both of great and awesome value.

If you look really, really closely on the first photo, you'll notice that there's a leak on my Nature Republic Nature Olive Scalp Cooling Hair Pack (Php 610).

I reported this immediately and supported my complaint with photos. They offered to replace the product provided I send them the damaged goods or give me Php 150 credits. I took the latter because of the convenience. Hooray for great customer service!

Going back to the box, I like its variety since I was really due to repurchase some vanity essentials. You can't beat the price too since the total box value is Php 4902 and I only paid Php 1487. This box is also highly recommended for first timers in K-beauty or those who just want to binge shop (like me!).

To start off, we have some hair products from Nature Republic as previously mentioned plus Mise-En-Scene Perfect Serum Shampoo and Treatment. All three products nicely work with my heavily coloured hair. The shampoo and treatment smell so nice and elegant, it also noticeably quenches my hair's thirst for moisture. The folks I see on a daily basis also noticed the sheen and bounce, asking me if I did something different to my hair. The hair pack is a great treat at the end of a long working day since it gives me that cooling and calming sensation I'm craving for before bedtime.

Trendy Box 7's body treats are quite interesting. We have a Hot Body Salt Scrub from The Choute, Change Foot Peeling Pack from W. Lab (Php 437), and Under Arm Peeling Pack from Angel Factory (Php 240). The body scrub has pepper extract and caffeine that help smoothen the skin and reduce cellulite. I would have given this 5/5 stars but mannn the product's so hard to get out of the tube. The other two products are still due for me to test. If it helps, both are very popular among customers on the Althea website.

The last 2 of the 8 products are for the face. I like that they threw in a good essence in this box because apart from being an essential to crystal clear and smooth skin, this product's the first to be (usually) emptied from my stash. This Skin & Lab White Vita-C Essence is very promising -- super softening and glow effect. I'd totally rebuy this if they decide to offer this on the website.

Last but not the least, let's swoon over the Clio Pro Eye Palette Quad 1 Amber Slip. I'm all about neutrals lately and this is definitely my cup of tea. Check out this gorgeous swatch from Jolse:

I love how it's super compact, just perfect for my small purses. It might be too compact for some though who prefer using wide eyeshadow brushes.
